About Us

A public welfare trust with a clear purpose

Vardhan Public Welfare Foundation is committed to responsible public welfare. This page sets out who we are, what we exist to do, and who is answerable for it.

About the Trust

Working responsibly, and in the open

The Foundation is a public welfare trust based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It exists to serve the public interest across a defined set of welfare concerns, and to do so with the seriousness such work deserves.

A clear purpose, a defined scope of work and an accountable leadership structure guide the Foundation. Our commitment is to transparency in every aspect of our work, with claims supported by verifiable records.

Our approach is to understand needs, develop responsible partnerships, and undertake only what we can carry out well. Activities will be documented and shared publicly with clear information about their scope and progress.

What Guides Us

Purpose, mission and vision

Three statements that define the boundaries and direction of everything the Trust undertakes.

Purpose

To work for public welfare — extending support, opportunity and dignity to people whose circumstances place these beyond easy reach.

Mission

To develop responsible, well-governed welfare programmes across education, child and women welfare, care for children and the elderly, and the environment — built at a pace that our capability genuinely supports.

Vision

A society in which access to learning, care and dignity does not depend on a person's circumstances of birth, gender or age.

Leadership grounded in accountability

The Chairman's professional background in law shapes how the Foundation approaches its responsibilities: compliance is treated as a minimum, not an achievement, and clarity of record is treated as a duty owed to the public.

The Trust's direction is set collectively by its office bearers, who serve the organisation in a voluntary and fiduciary capacity.
